70 Mile General Store is centrally located between Clinton and 100 Mile House on Highway
97 North at the Green Lake / Watch Lake junction. They handle a variety of basic grocery
needs and are fully equipped with gas, and propane. As a liquor agency they carry an
assortment of liquors, wine, and beer. They sell hunting and fishing licences and carry
a selection of fishing tackle and flies suitable for our local lakes. They also stock
basic camping needs, and ice. 70 Mile General Store conveniently doubles as a Greyhound
bus depot.

Ace High Resort is located on the southern shore of Watch Lake. This Cariboo
lake is well known for its great Rainbow Trout fishing and natural beauty. This resort
is quiet and family orientated. The property is nicely treed, mainly grassed and on
1400 feet of westward facing shoreline! One, two and three room cabins, completely
equipped housekeeping cabins are available nestled among the trees. All cabins are
electrically heated and on the lakeshore. Spacious lakefront camping and RV sites
include electrical, water hook ups and sani-dump. Semi private boat docks are

Meadow Springs Ranch is a place that you can go horseback riding at a working
ranch and stay in a log cabin. This Guest Ranch is located close to Green Lake and
Watch Lake, yet is in it's own private wilderness area. Our ranch is a working ranch

Tin Cup Greens Golf Course is a family owned golf course located in scenic 70 Mile House,
located close to Highway 97. We offer 9 scenic holes in the middle of ranch country in
the South Cariboo Region of British Columbia. We also offer various activities such as our
authentic Finnish Sauna. Tin Cup Greens Golf Course is situated on a 40 acre parcel of
land 13 KM from 70 Mile House and only minutes away from the recreational area of Green
Lake. Our typical golfing season is May through October. Hiking, biking and bird watching
and other activities are available as well as endless trails built for snowmobiling use
during the winter months. Winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowmobiling,
skating and pond hockey.

Trollheimen Weaving Studio You can experience the beauty and recreational opportunities of the South Cariboo and
learn to weave at the same time. Come away with a blanket, a scarf or shawl, a rag rug,
an Appalachian egg basket; or take a workshop in a Norwegian weaving design technique:
Double Krokbragd, Square Weave, or Rosepath; weave a table runner, pillow or wall
hanging . . . and you can even learn to felt, to knit a scarf, toque, mitts or socks.
This all can be achieved in a 3 - 4 nights stay in our sleeping accommodation for three
or four, with a kitchenette and bath. You can be self-contained in the open studio loft.
We also have electricity available for an RV. Unni Bakstad Lorenz, weaving Instructor,
has a background in weaving that spans over 30 years. She's taken extensive courses in
Norway, USA, and Canada. She received her Crafts Program Diploma and Certificate for
teaching crafts from Capilano College.

Watch Lake Lodge offers cabins and camping and our most popular attraction is
TRAIL RIDING. We offer two well supervised rides daily except Sunday's. On Thursday's
at 6:00 pm we feature an Adult Ride for camp guests only. On Saturday there is a picnic
lunch ride, where riders and non-riders meet by the lake and have lunch together.
The Lodge incorporates 12 rustic
cabins, 8 sites for tents and campers, a safe swimming area, row boats and a small
convenience store. Shorty, Dimps and family offer a very unique vacation experience
where you draw your own water and chop your own wood. Generations of families have
enjoyed their stay at Watch Lake Lodge and many have formed very special friendships
with each other at their "Home Away From Home!"
